IVF is a specialized technique and procedure in which eggs from a woman’s ovary are removed and fertilized by sperm outside the body in a liquid in a laboratory, and then the “embryo” is returned to the woman’s uterus to grow and develop.
for the women who undergo IVF (in vitro fertilization) and want to conceive their babies, they experience a painful procedure with hundreds of daily hormone injections. Angela is a new mother, from St. Louis, who experiensed this technique using hundereds of syringes to get pregnant, and she used them to form a powerfull photo by posing her precious newborn surrounded by a heart of those syringes.
